Description

 Basic Position Duties                                 

  • Maintain QA Document Control System, prepare and distribute new and revised documents (internal and applicable external). Track acknowledgements and maintain the records. Keep document control logs updated.
  • Produce, prepare, and disperse reports, including quality concerns, debit memos, purchase requisitions, customer and supplier ratings, rainbow meeting minutes, QA daily abnormal logs, etc. Maintain the files/records/logs.
  • Receive sorting reports from sub-contractors and in-housing sorting. Update In-Process Defect (IPD) reports and summarize data for Rainbow Improvement Activity, IPD Charts and Kaizen Quality and Cost projects.
  • Maintain QA office and lab supply inventories, place orders, receive, verify, and distribute receipts. Make and schedule travel arrangements for staff.
  • Secure data by developing database back-up files. Provide historical data through proper filing and retrieval systems.
  • Promote team SEWS and continuous improvement in safety, quality and cost through SEWS suggestion program, Kaizen Team activity, QA Team project participation, Customer PK and IATF audit preparation.
  • Support with daily QA Hold meetings, release QA Hold product based on TWI results and sorting results. Support team with quarantine disposition activities.
  • Other tasks as required.

Position Requirements               

Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED, secondary education preferred.
 
Experience: 2-year previous experience preferred  
 
Skills: Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Chart Creation, PowerPoint, and Data Entry. Knowledge of BPCS/MICS a strong plus. Candidate must exhibit excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, keyboard and typing skills. Organization, professionalism, managing multiple tasks, confidentiality, cultural awareness, sensitivity, honesty and flexibility. Ability to walk/bend/lift 20 lbs.
